Dessy Dobreva makes her debut in Dallas, Texas on February 27, 2009, as a guest to the local celebration of the Bulgarian Liberation day of March 3-rd.
Multi-award winning vocalist and musician Dessy Dobreva is known throughout Bulgaria, where she has anchored her own television show and participated in the highest rated program on Bulgarian TV, “Slavi's Show”. She has performed in front of audiences exceeding 40,000 people, including such high profile events as the Easter Concert (2003), and the New Years Concerts (2002 and 2003) at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
During her three year tenure as the lead singer of Ku-Ku Band and “Slavi’s Show”, she sang along with such stars as Manhattan Transfer, Dream Theater, David Coverdale, BOND, Incognito, to name a few. Among the guests on the show were also the likes of Jean-Claude Van Dame, Former Russian President, Mikhail Gorbachev (whom Dessy brought to tears with her rendition of an old Russian song!), Ray Liotta, Stephen Baldwin, Tony Palmer (Sony Music), and Bob Miller (Governor of Nevada, USA).
Her performances have reached millions of people, and are showcased in three CDs recorded with Ku-Ku Band: Prima Patriot (2004), Vox Populi (2003) and The New Barbarians (2001).

Dinner will be provided (menu and prices will be posted soon), containing of traditional Bulgarian meals. Bottled water will be available. Please bring your own alcoholic beverages (BYOB).
After the dinner and concert, a DJ will help us dance the night away!
The event is organized by Dance ensemble "Lyush" and all ramaining funds will be donated towards acquiring traditional dancing costumes for the group.
